I am Tramone Tate, a photographer in the Chicagoland area. I take photos because it allows me to turn things that people see everyday or things people usually overlook into something interesting. When starting off, I was unsure what type of photography interest me; but after being inspired by famous photographers and some classmates, I developed a passion for street and portrait photography. My artwork is unique because I feel like it captures lines throughout city areas and is able tell a silent story. Whether it’s a long exposure of cars driving past or just the natural lines created by nature or buildings, they make for interesting pictures. One of the most important reasons I like this type of photography is because everything I need or want to take a picture is already out there. I just have to go find it! Walking around downtown during a shoot never gets boring because there’s always something new to see or a person standing in a certain place at a certain time that can create a variety of thoughts and meanings for a picture. With this style of photography my eyes always have to be open because in most cases I may only get one chance to capture the perfect moment.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Please contact me if you are interesting in purchasing any of my work.
